Students entering 7th & 8th grade (2021-2022) are invited to come and enjoy a day at the Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer, MI. We will be renting a motor coach to take all 40 middle school students and 10 DS3 leaders. The dunes and the beach offer a one-stop snack shop, kayak rental, arcade machines, basketball courts, and restrooms. Snacks and water will be provided on the bus. However, students are responsible for lunch (at the beach – you may buy or bring a sack lunch) and supper (bring $5-$10 for a stop after we leave the dunes). Snacks are permitted on the bus.
ITEMS TO BRING:
Beach: beach bag with modest swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, sandals and/or sneakers, socks (if needed) extra change of clothing, sweatshirt, beach & sporting items to play with. Bus Trip: pillow, blanket, snacks, refillable water bottle labeled with your name, road trip games.
