Support a Host Family with Meal Prep Saturday
We need your help!
July 17th | 9:30 AM – 12 PM
We are looking for volunteers to join us at Blackhawk on July 17th, from 9:30am-12pm to put together freezer meals for New Mercies Ministries (formerly affiliated with Safe Families for Children) meal program, which provides meals to host families that are hosting children while New Mercies Ministries walks along a family in crisis.
We will be providing all of the ingredients and supplies, but are looking for volunteers to help us put the meals together.
You don’t need to be a chef to make an impact! Your time on July 17th will make a huge impact for New Mercies Ministries and the host families they support. Supplying dinner to a host family after a long day of walking beside a child in crisis is one way New Mercies Ministries and Blackhawk can show biblical hospitality in our community.
