We give last Saturday TWO thumbs up!
From 9:30AM – Noon, on July 17, we had a full kitchen at Blackhawk! So many from our church family joined together to assemble freezer meals for New Mercies Ministries (formerly affiliated with Safe Families for Children) meal program. They were able to turn a bunch of ingredients into a bunch of meals! Men, women, teens, kids, families… all working together to serve this ministry.
We were able to make 14 meals!
What a huge success! These meals will be provided to host families that are hosting children while New Mercies Ministries walks along with a family in crisis. What an amazing opportunity this was to #LightTheOneFive and spread the love of Jesus in our community.
