Blackhawk’s first Crossing the Road Conference was a success! Participants from 26 area churches spent a vibrant weekend together learning how to take their first steps toward loving their Muslim neighbors. They encountered God’s heart for Muslims and learned how to face the fears that often hold us back. Conference speakers gave inspiring testimonies and practical tools for equipping participants with the tools they need to step across the street and display the love of Christ to their Muslim neighbors.
As part of our church’s next steps in reaching out to our Muslim neighbors with the love of Christ, we will be hosting a 10-week “Journey to Jesus” class during Blackhawk’s Wednesday evening family nights this winter. The Journey to Jesus class will equip you to reach out to all types of Muslims, build meaningful relationships with them, and display the love of Jesus. This practical study goes beyond head knowledge to show you how typical conversations and relationships with Muslims look. Please register to join us as we learn practical skills for interacting with these precious people that God has brought into our sphere of influence. No prior training is required to participate in this class. All are welcome!
