This past November, my family, along with many others from Blackhawk Ministries, excitedly packed up shoeboxes to be delivered to children all over the world! In December, we received an email telling us where our shoeboxes traveled to…
We clicked “Learn More about Ukraine” and enjoyed talking about and praying for the children who would open our gifts. At that time, Ukraine was just one of the many countries that could receive our OCC shoeboxes. Now, Ukraine is on every news station and every media outlet… and in every heart as we continue to pray for this country, its people, and its children.
On Sunday, February 27, a teacher made this video (below) inside the basement of a church in Ukraine… just days after the war started. You can see cartons of OCC shoeboxes in the background! She teaches children participating in The Greatest Journey discipleship program. Please join us in praying for this teacher and these precious children and their families.

“Dear Lord, We praise you and thank You for the mercy and grace You have lavished on us. We ask you to soften the hearts of the children who’ve received our shoeboxes and to bring them to salvation in You. Please soften the hearts of those children who have yet to receive a shoebox so that they may know You as well. We ask that you strengthen us to walk in obedience to You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.”
