Get to know: Basem Saad
Basem Saad, a partner of Blackhawk, is married to Rasha, and they have two children. They live in Assut in Upper Egypt.
Basem’s service to the Lord includes much ministry work both inside and outside of Egypt. He also trains many servants inside and outside of Egypt for the missionary field.
His service within Egypt includes:
- Training, apprenticeship and preparing mission leaders for service in the Middle East.
- Serving Sudanese refugees in Egypt.
His service outside of Egypt’s borders includes:
- Serving Middle Eastern countries
- Serving in South Sudan, Kenya and Uganda (including serving Sudanese refugees in Uganda)
- Serving Syrian refugees in Lebanon
- Serving some ethnic groups in Syria
Blackhawk has partnered with Basem for several of our recent activities in East Africa, including the South Sudan February 2021 mission trip, the South Sudan / Kenya 2022 mission trip, overseeing the installation of the well in Aweil (South Sudan), several rounds of Bible distribution to pastors in that area, and working with our partner Global Action to coordinate training for pastors in Tonj (South Sudan).
Get to know: Samy Amin
Samy Amin, a partner of Blackhawk, serves to disciple and train young people through teaching spiritual courses, working with youth in their day to day life circumstances, connecting young people to other trainings and mentors, and working with partners to extend their spiritual work. Samy serves as an elder in the Evangelical Church in Sohag, and his ministry includes many activities inside and outside the church. He is married to Fafy (who has recently begun helping Blackhawk communicate and better partner with all of our partners in Egypt). They have two daughters and reside in Sohag, upper Egypt.
