ALL THE DETAILS…
Hello Parents, Students, Teachers and fellow youth workers!
This is Mark Hammond. Some of you may know me and some of you may not. I have been a Youth Pastor for 23 years throughout my city of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. My life’s work has been to fight for the hearts of the next generation and their families. I currently serve as the Student Pastor at Blackhawk Ministries in Ft. Wayne. My heart is always to bring students and parents together, but especially in this Covid 19 season.
*Parents, what if you could somehow know what your son or daughter may be struggling with? Would you want to know? How could you better love and care for them if you had a better idea of the condition of their heart?
*Students, what if you could learn about what pressures your Mom or Dad or family member is carrying in these days? Would you want to know?
Well, you can!
I am partnering with Clinton Faupel at RemedyLIVE and he has a tool that allows us all to watch a live presentation and to anonymously respond to questions that will show up on your tablet or computer. We will see results in live time and leave with a better understanding of where students and also parents are at. Again, 100% ANONYMOUS. There is no way that we can see who answers a question, or how they answer it.
WHEN IS THIS?
Wednesday, MAY 27th from 6-7pm
WHAT’s THE PURPOSE?
This event is dedicated to helping parents, students, and families see the importance of good conversation around mental wellness and how we all need to look out for one another. May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
WHO SHOULD REGISTER?
1.This interactive streaming event is for parents and their students, 6th through 12th grade.
2.Each parent/student should participate on a separate device so as to interact via the polling feature within the web browser.
3.Parents need to register any student younger than 18 years of age if they wish them to participate. This is a quick and easy process. (Volunteers, teachers, and youth workers may also participate.)
HOW TO REGISTER?
Step #1: Visit RemedyLIVE.com/
Step #2: Upon registration, an email will be sent to the parent’s email with a URL destination of where the live event will be hosted the evening of May 27th. An option during registration will also be provided to include email and mobile phone information for reminders to be sent to student participants.
Step #3: In preparation, and in order to maximize the evening, parents should watch and interact on a separate computer or tablet from the device their student(s) are using. In fact, each participant should strive to have their own device if possible. RemedyLIVE’s webinar tool allows for live video and live polling on a computer or tablet but not on a smartphone.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
