Jermaine & Chasity O’Neal
Deacon
My wife Chasity and I have been married 18 Yrs. and have 3 wonderful children (2 Daughters and a Son). Prior to coming to Blackhawk, I served as a Minster/Elder 20 yrs. I also sang and played drums for the choir. My wife headed the children’s ministry 7 years. We have served at Blackhawk with the youth, and the worship team. I love people and have a passion for people to know and experience Jesus. One of the things that stood out coming to Blackhawk was the saying “Making Disciples that make Disciples.” This is what we enjoy doing. This is what Jesus has called us all to do.

Jim & Barb Williams
Deacon
Barb invited me to attend the Blackhawk Church Singles Group in 1974. In 1979 I became a Christian, and later that year, we were married. During our attendance, I served several years on the Collection Counting Team and also served as a Greeter. Barb?s time was spent raising our 3 girls. Our blended family has expanded to 8 grandchildren. I am now retired from corporate life, and we spend time among our family, LIFE Group, Sunday School Class and Bible Studies. It is good to see the continued weekly decisions made for Christ and frequent baptisms which show that God is alive at Blackhawk.

Koontz
Blackhawk Ministries Service Dog
Koontz has been trained through Indiana Canine Assistance Network, ICAN, and will be serving as a fulltime member of the Blackhawk Ministries and Blackhawk Christian Schools staff.
He is named after Deputy Officer Carl Koontz who unfortunately lost his life while serving with the Sheriff's Office in Howard County, Indiana. Officer Koontz was a kind and loving Husband, Father, and Officer and is greatly missed. Koontz will continue Officer Koontz?s example of loving and serving here at Blackhawk.
Koontz will be of great assistance to all who work, attend, or are involved in Blackhawk Ministries and Blackhawk Christian School. Koontz will be used to provide support to students who are
struggling with various issues, such as anxiety, grief, conflict resolution, behavior, and help to develop greater empathy in our students for others, and also as a nonthreatening way to discuss difficult topics such as death, social differences, and hygiene.
We are excited to have Koontz join our staff, so please stop in and say ?Hi? to our new friend.

Lyman & Joan Lewis
Deacon
Joan and I have been married for 52 years. We have two sons, Duane and Kevin, who have blessed us with 6 grandchildren. I retired from General Electric (where I worked for 33 years in Marketing and Sales) and the former IPFW (where I worked for 10 years as a professor of Marketing and Director of the MBA programs at the Doermer School of Business).
We have been members of Blackhawk for 5 years. We are first service greeters and belong to the Double Exposure Life group. Joan volunteers in the ESL and quilters programs. We are leaders in the Monday evening BSF program that meets at Blackhawk (Joan with women’s program and me with men’s program).
I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as a deacon at Blackhawk.
