Blackhawk Ministries is a bustling place with countless opportunities for you to learn, worship, grow, and belong together with our church family. We all understand that life can be a challenge, and that support from your church community can make all the difference We want to share in your joys and to help carry your burdens. Whether you’re seeking Christian fellowship and growth when the road is smooth, or have an earnest need when you hit a rough patch, we want to provide a safe place where you are loved and cared for.
If you’re in need of prayer for any reason, post on our Prayer Wall, where typically dozens of people pray for requests.
Prayer & Counseling
We would love to serve you. Please contact us and a pastor or staff member will reply as quickly as possible. Or call the church office: 260.493.7400
We would love to come alongside you to support any needs you may have in this season. We encourage those already in a Blackhawk Life Group to check for any needs within the group and aim to meet those needs. Fill out our Assistance Request Form to request help if your Blackhawk Life Group (as mentioned above) is unable to assist. Please note: assistance is not provided for all financial requests and is generally processed in a one-to-two week time frame.
Ways to Respond During Difficult Seasons
In time when the world is responding with panic and chaos, God's people respond well by remaining calm,
praying first, filling our hearts with God's word, and increasing our generosity.
Go to God as your first priority, not your last resort. We believe God is working supernaturally while we are working naturally.
PRAYER TO PRAY
Most Gracious Father,
We place our confidence and hope in You.
We ask You for protection, healing, and provision.
We ask You for wisdom to know how we ought to conduct ourselves as the body of Christ before a watching world.
We ask that You would open our eyes to see ways to love our neighbor as ourselves.
We ask You to use these uncertain and difficult times to bring renewal to our homes and communities. We ask that, by the power of Your Spirit, You would draw people far from You to place their trust in Jesus.
In Jesus’ name,
Filling Our Hearts with God’s Word
The unshakable foundation for our lives is God’s Word. It is our source of wisdom, comfort, and faith. It helps defines our current reality and illuminate our path forward.
SCRIPTURES TO MEDITATE ON
“When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down,
your sleep will be sweet.
Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
for the Lord will be at your side
and will keep your foot from being snared.”
— Proverbs 3:24-26 NIV
God’s people don’t shrink from difficult times, instead, we react in faith believing that God uses our increased generosity to meet needs and shine a light of hope into the darkness people around us are experiencing.
One of the biggest ways you can help is to automate your giving. Set up recurring giving so that no matter how often we are able to gather, God’s work can continue

Please pray for our pastoral staff to continue to rightly divide the word of God. That they keep shepherding us as they have and that God gives them wisdom, grace, and humility. Pray the Lord blesses them, keeps them, and His face shine upon them.

Our youngest son Isaac needs prayer. He is at Parkview North for testing on his brain. Pray for his doctor and caregivers to have clarity as they try and understand what is wrong. Pray for his total healing. We know God is in control!

Early this summer I had a stroke. I have recovered except for my spiritual life. I can't seem to get back to the same routines I used before. I seem to have lost my passion and I pray and pray but I am struggling. Please pray for me that the Lord will restore my spirit. Thank you!

I would like to uplift my children. They were pretty young when I got divorced over a year and a half ago. They are now old enough to understand some of the situation and are having a hard time working through it. They do attend BCS in pre-k and K, so I would also appreciate uplifting their teachers and Ms. Carmen as they have done so well with them, to continue giving them the right words to say and loving them as I have seen them do.
