DS3 7th & 8th Grade Pokagon Tobogganing Trip

WHEN:  SUNDAY, January 30
TIME:  1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
COST:  $5 – register at Blackhawk.FYI
DROP OFF & PICK UP LOCATION:  Blackhawk – Door 12
WHERE: Toboggan Run at Pokagon State Park

DS3 7th & 8th grade students will be heading to Pokagon State Park. The students will get to enjoy the park’s refrigerated Toboggan Run near Angola, Indiana, has a 30-foot tower and dips and valleys, with the total vertical drop of 90 feet over the course of a quarter mile. Students will need to bring $ for snacks at the park and for the McDonalds stop on the way home.

Pokagon State Park RULES:
Maximum of 4 people per toboggan (no exceptions)
Gloves must be worn to ride the toboggan
Toboggan will close if air temperature drops to 0 degrees F or below at the track
Warming Center restrooms open; concessions available. No indoor gathering space available
Must use park’s toboggan
No cameras/video equipment allowed on ride
