On Sunday, September 19th, the group gathered in the Blackhawk auxiliary gym, feasted on a free Zianno’s lunch, and enjoyed time connecting with each other and leaders in our church.
Pastor Kevin Rivers shared and prayed for our group and Pastor Weaz introduced our Young Adult team of leaders and shared how to get plugged into our Young Adult Ministry. (See details about that below!)

[At the luncheon] I spoke with a few young ladies who have been coming here for 4 weeks. They said they need to get back to pursuing Jesus in their lives. They intend to join us Sunday morning for our YA class at 9:30 and perhaps more! There were many other things to celebrate and I am so grateful. Please join me in praying for this ministry area!

Our YA group includes anyone who has graduated from high school or in their 20’s… we have college students, singles, engaged couples, married couples and single parents! ALL are welcome and we’re excited for all the growth we’re seeing in this newer ministry area here at Blackhawk.
Our YA group gathers Sunday mornings, from 9:30–10:30 AM in Room 254 (upstairs classroom of Blackhawk Secondary) and Tuesday nights in the Blackhawk Media Center from 7–8:30 PM. Stay tuned into Blackhawk.FYI for upcoming events!
