You don’t have to measure up to some impossible religious standard to know God—you can’t, only Jesus can. Having a personal relationship with Jesus brings meaning and purpose to all the struggles you’re facing. You don’t have to be good enough, clean up your act, or follow some super-spiritual checklist.

Baptism is going public about your faith in Jesus and communicating to the world your heart-felt commitment to following Him. It’s the next step after salvation.

Baptism doesn’t save a person; it’s a symbol and celebration of salvation (1 Peter 3:21). The power that brought Jesus back to life is the same power Jesus uses to change our lives – and that’s worth getting excited about!

When you become a member at Blackhawk, you commit to a spiritual family that provides encouragement and support. You are called to a biblical degree of service, responsibility, and sacrifice to your brothers and sisters. Our elders and leaders also pledge to assist our Members with care, counsel, prayer,and teaching.
