God is always on the move and what an exciting season He is moving us into as a church! We are celebrating Pastor Dave’s approval and reflecting on Sunday’s sermon as it relates to our ministry with the next generation of Christ followers. The challenges were to intentionally share the story of our salvation, to take heart as we walk this hard path of discipleship, and to fix our eyes on Jesus’ future glory while looking for daily glimpses of His presence and goodness. What timely encouragement for us and for our teens as we walk alongside one another!

Our newly formatted Sunday morning class, Momentum, is the perfect time and place to walk out those encouragements. We are excited and we really do see Momentum as a time for teens to share their walk with Jesus and to be encouraged and propelled forward through diving into the Word and sharing how they can apply what they take away from it.

Our Big Big breakfast kickoff was a great success!

Over 40 high school students and leaders came for a time of food, fellowship and a deeper look into Jesus’ warning to his disciples in Mark 8:14-21. This past week, Pastor Weaz led us in a fantastic discussion about David and Bathsheba. We were challenged to look at how we can be victorious when we face temptations in life.

Momentum Class will meet every Sunday in room 258 from 10:00-10:35!

We hope that many high schoolers will return for a time of relational connection with each other and with God. Our long term goal is to also provide a BIG Breakfast once a month where we feast on some great food and feast on God’s Truth!
